Upi-Sekhmeti (NSFW)

Among one of the odd but seemingly little referred Egyptian gods is that of Upi-Sekhmeti. The question is….., who is he? What purpose does he have on the venerable Egyptian history and folklore? In reality, almost nothing is known about Upi- Sekhemti. Most sources that even provide a tiny amount of information refer to the Egyptian god as Upi-Sekhemti. He is described as a jackal-headed god that sings. A few other sources say that he is the servant of the god Set. Egypt was known for its many deities and names can get changed and lost over time. Cultures and religious sects can grab former gods and manipulate it to their beliefs. It is very remotely possible that Upi-Sekhemti maybe another iteration of the gods like Anubis. In the end, there is no perfect straight forward answer. In Tales of Heroes, the answer is way more apparent. Upi-Sekhemti is one of many examples of the children of the Egyptian deities that helped serve the lineage of the great ancient religion. The jackal like god is unique and not as well defined. He is the son of the goddess Anput. He is a member of the race known as the cynocephali……the race of dog people that are not related to werewolves. The cynocephali can consist of gods such as Anubis, Anput, and other historical/mythical characters, such as Saint Christopher (the dog-faced Saint). The race has been known to tap into the world of magic and help play roles here, and there is human history. Of course, no two cynocephali are entirely alike. No one knows if Upi-Sekhmeti’s father was human or Anubis. Egyptian deities were sometimes known to have fun with human mortals. What is known was his ability to sing beautifully that would put minstrels to shame. The dog god is capable of singing and playing musical instruments with incredible talent. Upi-Sekhmeti is virtually little known in the god world, but his singing and playing have made him well known. His magic is his voice. Playing his instrument, little can resist his incredible jovial personality. A day of being with him is enough for any woman to strip naked and spread their legs before him. Who can say no to a god that can sing as beautifully as him? It is too much for them to bear or resist. It is a night that they remember very well. Upi-Sekhmeti has survived the battle with Cataclysm. The entity that would wipe out 98% of the gods on Earth failed to wipe out some of the Egyptian mythics. The singing god once again continues his great career in human disguise. Wooing the women to his bed, they swear to keep the secret of his true identity safe. They can’t ignore it, and all want to be with the god that plays his music.
