Rasha, Capital of the Rasha’Molash’Tren Empire
*Spoilers if you haven’t read Gabatrix: The First
Peace*
"I've been to Rasha. Their great underground
cavern cities are beautiful, crafted pieces of art
and stone. Yet, the people are more than just
artisans, but those that have learned to live in the
most obscure places in the galaxy," Ifgren, Son of
Logren.
For many of those that look upon the history
of the Itreans, commonalities and similarities are
quickly drawn between the Aksren Empire of
Rasha'Molash'Tren and the Yutilian Kingdom of
Shish. However, to say that they are entirely the
same is considered to be an atrocity by analysts
and Itrean historians. The Rasha Aksrens are not
reclusive in any way. They have simply learned to
veer into the unknown and find the least likely
locations to call their home. Yet, their decisions to
find obscure worlds as new homes have led others
to think that they are deliberate in wanting
isolation. Their history proves otherwise.
History
The history of Rasha goes as far back as
69,000 years ago. The Tren Aksrens were a religious
group that thrived during the heart of the
Yol'ikren Imperial Dynasty. They were known for
wearing black robes and hoods that covered much
of their bodies. Their philosophy believed in the
all-knowing dark being known as "The Watcher,"
which was responsible for providing life and
beauty to the galaxy. With various other religions,
the Tren often struggled against different groups
and sometimes against the leadership of various
regimes.
By 65,000 years, Faltres'Kid the Butcher rose
as the Empress of the Yol'ikren Dynasty. Her role in
purging various religious groups and political
competition was well known. The Tren were
targeted just as much as any other religious
organization. However, the outcry of mercy had
managed to secure enough time for the Tren to
begin mass-wide evacuations. Faltres'Kid made no
attempt to pursue them as they fled from Renlar
with their lives.
However, instead of seeking refuge in other
empires, the Tren vanished. Their journey took
them to the most obscure areas far from Aksren
clan space. They would eventually find a rogue
planet that they would name Rasha, "Son of the
Watcher." From there, the Tren had declared their
journey at a close. From their religion, the people
embraced the darkness. The rogue planet was a
perfect candidate. Supposedly, the planet was part
of a binary star system that was knocked out of
orbit approximately 300,000 years ago. While its
surface was dark and cold, the world still had life
on it. It had a rotating iron core and still generated
tectonic activity underneath the surface. It was
here that the Tren lived underground and created
a society that respected sublevel lives.
The fledgling world of Rasha would grow. By
63,000 years ago, the people had expanded to
remote areas of Aksren territory. Mining
expeditions proved fruitful; by 60,000 years, the
society had become a mini-empire. However,
unlike the Kingdom of Shish, it would be the Rasha
people that would open negotiations with the
Empire of Gwin. By this time, the savagery of
Empress Faltres'Kid was long over. Instead, the
Aksren clan would be surprised at the new empire
that would rise and be known as the
Rasha'Molash'Tren.
Regardless, the Rasha'Molash'Tren Empire
was nothing in comparison to Renlar, Gwin, or the
other empires. The overall population was only 2%
of that of Renlar. However, the Rasha people were
technically ahead of some other groups. It would
be the Rasha ships that were built to focus on
stealth technology. If the empire had an
insignificant fleet, then, according to them, their
goal was to ensure that they still had some
advantage in combat. It wasn't the goal of the
Rasha people to spy on others but to at least have
combat-capable platforms. The stealth ships did
prove effective in repelling Yutilian and Alara'jal
assaults from time to time.
By the arrival of Jalgren, the
Rasha'Molash'Tren were in no position to repel
Jalgren's advances. While the Empire of Gwin did
put up a resistance, the Rasha'Molash'Tren
assisted in their defense. However, the few
warships inflicted little damage. When Ovashi
surrendered, the Rasha'Molash'Tren sued for
peace as well. Jalgren's desire was to gather the
stealth technology utilized by the Rasha people. In
exchange, the mini-empire would be made a part
of the growing Empire of Jalgren. Everyone agreed.
It was much to the benefit that the Rasha
people thrived under the Empire of Jalgren. By
now, four worlds belonged to the former mini-
empire, with the rogue planet still serving as the
capital. Religious freedom was widely respected,
and the people were left alone. It proved to be so
effective that the Rasha's population would
explode in size. Mining corporations became a new
norm with Rasha technology used to help establish
homes on the least likely of planets. By 20,000
years ago, it was believed that eight worlds
belonged to the Rasha people.
However, as the Empire of Jalgren was slowly
collapsing on itself, it would be the Rasha that
would feel it the most. Corruption and the removal
of religious freedom severely disrupted their
society. The worst of the atrocities would be the
"No-Cloak" rule, where Imperial soldiers would
brutalize and strip the people of their clothing. At
times, large portions of the Rasha society were
ridiculed for wandering the streets naked, where
they were mocked.
When the Rototrein Rebellion began, the
Rasha were adamant about joining up and rising
against the Empire of Jalgren. However, the
Rebellion failed to gain much ground over the
planet. Much like Ovashi, the uprisings were
savagely put down. Rototrein would try to launch
an attack to liberate Rasha, but his fleets were
repelled. Only a few rebel cells working outside of
Rasha would help render assistance in the
Rototrein Rebellion, but it wouldn't be until the
end of the Rebellion that the people would finally
gain their independence.
After the breakup of the former Empire of
Jalgren, the Empire of Rasha'Molash'Tren would
thrive again. Despite the Jalgren Empire's brutality,
Rasha'Molash'Tren was in a relatively good
position. Very little damage had been inflicted on
its infrastructure. Within the course of 55,000
years, the little empire had arisen as a serious
contender, although its strength was still not on
par with the other empires. Of the five that arose
after the collapse of the Empire of Jalgren, the
Rasha'Molash'Tren was the weakest. This by no
means establishes the small empire from
accomplishing its tasks.
With the creation of the Zix'Tral'Tren alliance
with the Empires of Gwin, Nirk'on, and Salre'po,
there was debate if the Rasha'Molash'Tren would
eventually join it. While the small empire does
engage in diplomatic and trade relations with the
organization, they ultimately decided not to join it.
By this time period, Rasha had become more
devoted to a form of isolationism. While they still
engage in active trade, their goal is to be left
alone. Most of this has to deal with the failed
attempts to liberate the world from the brutal
oppression of the Empire of Jalgren. Rototrein only
tried once to liberate the planet as he devoted his
time to freeing more "important" realms. Rasha
has had a generally negative view towards
outsiders as they look at them with an act of fear.
Only economics has served as a valid reason to
keep their doors open.
Rasha'Molash'Tren did devote more efforts to
returning to their small stealth fleet. However,
even this technology was something they didn't
focus on much. Eventually, the mini-empire would
continue to expand slowly. There is often much
debate that the Rasha people have become
stagnant in the last 10,000 years. By avoiding
alliances, it had kept away from conflict. Not even
the Alara'jal or Shal'rein ever made an attempt to
attack the capital world. The last 10,000 years
would be devoted to three entities of the Aksren
clan: The Empire of Itsis, the Zix'Tral'Tren Alliance,
and the Mini-Empire of Rasha'Molash'Tren with the
third serving only a minor role in the destiny of the
entire Aksren clan.
However, by 800 years ago, much of the
attitudes of the Rasha'Molash'Tren had started to
turn around. More and more of its people have
become open to the actions of both major Aksren
entities. Many can argue the comparisons of the
Kingdom of Shish of the Yutilians, but the Rasha
people are more open to outsiders despite some of
their xenophobic nature. If anything, Rasha serves
as the hub of activity for the mini-empire. It's
often joked by Itrean historians that there is so
much trade that flows to the capital world that the
space transports have become the new source of
illumination for the planet's surface. By this time,
more and more politicians have been actively
engaged in better relations with the Zix'Tral'Tren
alliance.
As the Shish would progress heavily in the
realm of stealth technology, there was more of a
concerted effort for the Rasha'Molash'Tren to
focus on their own stealth tech. As a result, by 500
years ago, the Aksren stealth frigates were being
built in higher masse.
It wouldn't be until the arrival of the Emphra
that the Aksren would turn to the
Rasha'Molash'Tren for help. Every world was at
risk, and Rasha was no different. However, it was
discovered that the Emphra focused little on
stealth ships in fleet actions. Shish warships
performed well, often ambushing or providing
valuable intel to other Itrean assets. With the
dangers posed by the Emphra, the Aksren clan
alliance was created to counter all assaults.
Imperial Rasha'Molash'Tren vessels would join up
in Aksren fleet engagements to engage in the
dangerous tasks of intel gathering.
Regardless of the sacrifices of the Rasha
people, it wasn't enough to halt the advances of
the Emphra. Rasha'Molash'Tren's resources were
simply too insignificant to make a difference. Its
stealth technology and frigates weren't inflicting
enough damage, and at times, Emphra warships
could track and destroy them during large-scale
battles. It wouldn't be until the Shish shared their
cloaking technology that the Rasha was given a
break that they needed. With the reverse
technology, it pushed the mini-empire's
technology to a new limit. New stealth battleships
and cloaking infiltrator ships were pressed out of
Rasha's ground foundries at an alarming rate.
While planet Rasha escaped unharmed during
the Emphra War, this didn't stop three of the
worlds of the mini-empire from being overrun by
the liquid menace. After the conclusion of the
Emphra War, the Rasha planet would have to serve
as a hub of restoration to rebuild these worlds.
However, during the last 50 years, great efforts
have been made to push forward the cloaking
technology utilized for the Aksren. It has been the
goal for Rasha'Molash'Tren to further advance this
field. At the very least, it ensures that the Aksren
are second to none in stealth technology, being
not that far from the Yutilian counterparts….

Ancient Aksren Rasha’Molash’Tren warships were known
for their dark red appearance. However, the space fleet
was very small even when compared to the Yutilian
Kingdom of Shish.
